In a recent conversation with the BBC, Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki shared his straightforward advice for parents uneasy about the platform: simply steer your kids clear of it if you have any reservations. Baszucki, who co-founded and leads the company, emphasized that even a single negative experience on Roblox is unacceptable.
“If you’re not comfortable, then don’t allow your children on Roblox,” he stated. “It might seem counterintuitive, but I believe it’s important for parents to make these decisions.”
When questioned about ongoing reports detailing negative experiences and the presence of bad actors on Roblox, Baszucki explained, “Our company operates on the principle that not even one bad incident is tolerable. We are vigilant against bullying and harassment, implementing extensive filtering, and, if needed, we involve law enforcement.”
This conversation follows recent concerns regarding safety on the platform. In response, Roblox has been ramping up measures aimed at protecting young users.
