Sonic Included in Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Day Lineup

Did you snag a pre-order for the Nintendo Switch 2 yesterday? If you were one of the fortunate ones, there’s good news! SEGA has confirmed that Sonic is joining the lineup with the release of SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS on June 5th.

Sonic will be part of a strong opening lineup, including Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S, for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch. You can pre-order these games both physically and digitally now.

Gear up for puzzle action with Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S! You’ll find a new “Puyo Tetris Doubles” mode, where 2v2 battles can unleash powerful combos on a shared board. With both local and online modes supporting up to 4 players, and a roster of 40 characters—including Sonic, each with unique stats and abilities—this is a must-play.

### Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut
Experience the ultimate edition of the Yakuza series’ origin story, now optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2. This enhanced version brings new story cutscenes, a fresh “Red Light Raid” multiplayer mode to tackle enemies with friends, and added voice-over options in English and Chinese. Subtitles are available in a variety of languages including French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
